Cotton Coordset Sizing Guide: How to Pick Between S and 3XL

Our cord sets come in sizes S through 3XL, and picking the right one makes a bigger difference to how the set actually looks than most people expect — a co-ord that's slightly off in size tends to show it more than a single fitted garment would.

Measure Before You Assume

Don't rely on the size you typically wear in other brands — sizing varies enough between brands and garment types that it's worth taking your own measurements. At minimum, measure your bust (around the fullest part), waist (at the narrowest point), and hips (around the fullest part), and compare against the size chart on each product page before choosing.

Top and Bottom Are Sized Together

Because a cord set is sold as a matched pair, the size you pick applies to both pieces. If your bust and waist measurements fall into different size categories, it's usually better to size up rather than down — a slightly loose top is far less noticeable than a tight one, while a snug waistband on the bottoms is more uncomfortable over a full day than a slightly relaxed fit.

How the Prints Affect Perceived Fit

Solid, high-contrast prints (like Black Red) tend to show fit issues — pulling, bunching — more visibly than busier floral prints, where the pattern naturally camouflages minor fit inconsistencies. If you're between sizes and unsure, a floral print is slightly more forgiving than a solid colourway.

Between Two Sizes?

As a general rule, size up if you plan to wear the set for extended periods (all-day comfort matters more than a perfectly snug fit), and size down slightly if you specifically want a more fitted, tailored look and don't mind less ease of movement.

Fabric Behaviour

Our sets use ruby cotton, which has some natural give but isn't stretchy the way jersey or knit fabric is — don't expect the same forgiving flexibility you'd get from a stretch fabric when choosing between two close sizes.
